Baby Pictures

Just a few pictures of Kembree. I try to take at least one a week because she is changing so much. She is such a good baby. My other kids would always frown, but she loves to smile.

Kembree's Baby Blessing

We blessed Kembree on April 12th, 2009. (Easter Sunday)

When we tell her to smile for the camera she crosses her eyes instead. :)

He she is with Dad. He is the one who blessed her. When he blessed Kinzie she screamed the whole time, so when Kembree made just a little sound he ended the prayer as fast as he could.

I had to get a butt shot because I love the little bow on her shorts. I got this dress a the Beary Merry Botique. I fell in love with it, but it was almost too small for her. I'm glad it still fit. She is laying on the afgan that my mom made for her. It turned out so pretty.

We took this family picture after church, but everyone was hungry and I need to get the lunch started so we didn't get a very good picture. It was a nice way to spend Easter.

What a Wind

It has taken me a while to post this, I started this on Tuesday but it is now Thursday. Life has been crazy. On March 22nd (that was a couple of Sundays ago) we had quite the wind storm. Duane heard a noise outside and looked out the window. He saw that the wind caught our pine tree just right. It twisted and fell on the fence and into the neighbors yard. The next day he started cutting it up and if you look at the picture he is not wearing a coat. Well it was breezy and very cold that day as well, so that night he got the chills and a fever. Well then I got sick from him and then the kids got sick one at a time. They are still sick. Janae was complaining about her ear hurting today (Thursday) and when we looked there was puss coming out of it. What fun :] I guess we get to go to the Dr. tomorrow. Thanks a lot you stupid tree.

Janae's Birthday

Janae turned 5 yrs old on March 13th. She wanted to have ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Wiley picked this one out for her.

Debra & Brian came over and Grandma Martin was here. She got the remote control truck she asked for and then some.

The kids wanted a picture together. The baby was sleeping but these three had fun posing for the camera.

Janae is growing up fast. We are so glad she is a part of our family. She is a sweet, helpful, and thoughtful little girl. We love you, Janae.

Kembree was born on Saturday March 7th @ 8:24pm. She was 8 lbs 13 oz and 20 1/2 inches. We are glad to finally have her here. She is sooo sweet. We are glad she is a part of our family.

MY BASKETBALL TEAM

I coached Wiley's basketball team this year with the help of my friend Bethann. Our last game was on Saturday. We had a pretty good season. We played a total of 8 games. We won 4 and lost 4. I enjoyed coaching I just wish I could have done more in practice with them. It was a little hard to run around while 9 months pregnant. But we had a couple of parents who helped out at some of the practices. We took them to the Dog House for ice cream tonight. The Dog House is an arcade. Everyone had a really good time.

Wiley and I decided to sport our ribbons for the camera. Janae took the picture. She did a pretty good job for a 5 yr old. (She will be 5 on the 13th)

Duane's B-Day

Monday was Duane's Birthday but he had to leave for work at 8:00 in the morning and he didn't get home until 10:30 at night. So we (the kids and I) made him some cheese cake and gave him his gifts on Sunday night.

The kids stayed entertained with the wrapping paper for quite a while. Duane was entertained with his new present, so I decided to take pictures. We had a fun time :]

My Bear

On Saturday we went to the furniture store to get a Lazy Boy rocker recliner. I told Duane I needed a chair to rock the baby. Anyway when we were doing all the paperwork Kinzie spotted these Bears. She stayed by this one the whole time, and if we got near her she would tell us "MY BEAR." She kept her arm around it the whole time. It was tooo cute, I had to take a picture.

Once I got out the camera and took her picture with this bear she decided she wanted her picture with the bears in the canoe too. She had a fun time just petting all the animals in the store.

In memory of TAG

Wiley's bird flew out the front door in January. He was so sad. He had me print this picture of TAG and then he wrote underneath it. I thought it was cute. He was pretty upset for about a week. This bird had a very fun personality and the kids really liked him. He could let himself out of the cage, and one night we came home from Wal-Mart and started unloading everything. The door got left open and Tag took off. It was a very cold night and the kids knew that he was going to freeze. He flew into one of our trees. When I would whistle to him he would answer and at one point he flew out toward me, but then circled back to the tree. Once it got dark I heard him fly but didn't see where he went. I was outside whistling for about 2 hours. The kids kept hoping but they knew when he didn't come back that night that he was probably dead. We had him for about 5 years. Wiley wanted to add him to the blog so when we order a book he will be a part of it.

Life is busy

I can't believe it has been almost a full month since my last post. I have had so much going on. I have 4 more weeks until my baby is due, and I am going to be busy right up until I have her. I have started my weekly appointments with the OB doc. I actually have one today. At my appt. last week the CNA asked if I have had any contractions and I told her I had one that day but it was the first. So she decided I needed to take my Strep B test that day. Well the Dr. had told me that test would be this week, so I was not prepared for this. I have been too lazy to shave my legs this whole winter :0) So I had a rug growing on them. I was soooo embarrassed that I could feel my face turn red. I apologised to him ahead of time. Needless to say I went home and shaved my legs. Besides trying to get ready for a baby I have been coaching Wiley's little league basket ball team. It has been nice to be involved in teaching him, but 8 weeks seems like a long time once you start having to plan around practice and games. I am also the coach for the ward volleyball team. Yes I'm still playing even though I look like I swallowed a few of the balls. I am surprised that I still have to call women every week to remind them even though they all have a schedule. I am also in charge of the Scrapbooking club in our ward. This is something I enjoy, but I have to come up with something new to show them each month. I love the fact that the BYU channel has a Scrapbooking show on every weekday. It really helps with ideas. Along with these callings I just got put in as the 1st counselor in our Primary. They put in a whole new presidency. I think it is going to be fun. Yesterday was our official first day. I have to do sharing time this month since I will miss most of March and some of April. I was excited to get out the crayons and laminator again. My last bit of news is that my sister in law had her baby last week. She wasn't due until tomorrow, but her blood pressure was so high at her last Dr. appointment that they sent her straight to the hospital. We have had Duane's family comming and going ever since. His sister's place isn't very big so everyone usually stays at our house. This weekend my brother in law his wife and my mother in law are all comming. We have taken the new parents dinner a couple of times this week. Duane also goes over and takes her blood pressure for her. It is still high but starting to improve. The baby is cute and she seems so small. You forget how small they are. Her baby is about three pounds smaller than mine though. Mine start out at about 9 lbs. Sorry I am rambling I just haven't posted for so long that I figured I would explain why. But I'm sure after I have my baby, I will be posting so often you will probably get sick of me :0)

Happy Birthday Kinzie

Yesterday was Kinzie's 2nd Birthday. I don't think she realized what was going on exactly. But she was excited to get presents and eat cake. We were lazy this year and just bought cheesecake. We had fun with the candle on top. This was a Scooby-Doo candle that she decided to play with the night before. While playing with it she broke off the head and one of the feet. When we decided to have her cake we couldn't find the head, so we melted the foot a little and used it for the head. The kids thought it was pretty funny. Talking about funny, we also went to the movie for her birthday. We saw Bedtime Stories. It was a very good movie. Our kids laughed the entire time. I have to admit Duane and I laughed quite a bit too. On the way home we stopped and got the kids a pizza. Debra and Brian came over and had some cake with us. Kinzie quickly ate her piece and then was off to see what she could get into. We had a pretty fun day. Happy Birthday Kinzie :>

Grandma's NEW Doo

Grandma was sporting this NEW look at her annual NEW Years party. Aunt Connee and Mom got her to wear it for most of the party. She was in her silly mood as usual. Every New Year's party seems to bring out her silliness. It's always fun to see her in a good mood.
